Casterton Book Group

Casterton WI Book Group

Our light-hearted book group currently has ten members and meets monthly, in the afternoon, on the first Wednesday of the month (which is the same day as our evening WI meeting).

We do not have to buy the books as they are supplied by Cumbria Libraries. A new book is issued every other month. Cumbria Libraries supplies a list annually from which we can choose our books for the next year.

We tend to meet at Casterton Golf Club and we give our opinions on the book we have just read.  If we don’t like the book, some of us don’t bother to finish it! We always enjoy our chat and a cup of tea and sometimes we are indulgent and have some cake.

Please contact Jill Humphris if you would like to come along.
