Dalemain

Gill and Sandy visited Dalemain with other WI members from the north of England and south of Scotland at the invitation of Jane Hasell-McCosh.

After a wander around the garden and a chance to buy the famous marmalade in the shop we were given a wonderful presentation by Pat, one of the guides, with pictures showing  us many of the treasures.  We were also told the history of the house and about the family.

The event culminated in a delicious afternoon tea of sandwiches, scones, eclairs, cakes and biscuits!
